Joint Tickets
Joint tickets for the SC Confederate Relic Room & Military Museum and the SC State Museum are $9.00. A joint ticket allows you to visit each museum once within a seven day period, which is a savings of $3.00 for those wanting to visit the two institutions.

LOCATION
The museum is located in the Columbia Mills Building at 301 Gervais Street in Columbia, just a few blocks west of the State Capitol in downtown. The museum shares this building with the SC State Museum.

PARKING
Free visitor parking is available in a large lot in front of the Columbia Mills Building.

DIRECTIONS and MAP
From Augusta
Take I-20 to Columbia and exit onto U.S. highway 1. Follow this highway several miles all the way to the bridge crossing the Congaree River.Once you cross the bridge, the museum is on your left. Continue up to the corner and turn left onto Huger Street, then a block later, follow the left turn signs onto Washington St. This will take you directly to the museum.
From Charleston
Take I-26 West and exit onto U.S. highway 1. Follow this highway, which becomes Meeting Street, all the way to the bridge crossing the Congaree River. Once you cross the bridge, the museum is on your left. Continue up to the corner and turn left onto Huger Street, then a block later, follow the left turn signs onto Washington St. This will take you directly to the museum.
From Charlotte
Take I-77 to Columbia and exit onto U.S. 277 going in to town. 277 will turn into Bull St. Continue on Bull St. until you get to WIS-TV. Turn right at the BP station onto Gervais St. and continue several blocks past the State Capitol on your left to the Gervais St. bridge crossing the river. The museum is on your right just before you reach the bridge.
From Florence
Take I-20 west to U.S. highway 378. Follow this highway, which becomes Sunset Blvd., all the way to the bridge crossing the Congaree River. Once you cross the bridge, the museum is on your left. Continue up to the corner and turn left onto Huger Street, then a block later, follow the left turn signs onto Washington St. This will take you directly to the museum.
From Greenville/Spartanburg
Take I-26 to Columbia, then come toward town on I-126 and bear right onto Huger St. Turn right at the fourth light onto Gervais Street and the museum is a half-block ahead on your right.
